Patricia Ann Baglan Willis, 83, of Norman Park, died Sunday, June 21, 2020 at her home.
A memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Deep Bottom Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Voyles officiating.
Born on November 6, 1936, in Leflore Co. Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. Baglan and Mary Eunice Smith Baglan. She retired from the Colquitt Co. Board of Education and was a member of First Baptist Church Norman Park.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Bennett Norman Willis; son, Tim Willis; grandson, Stacey Willis; sisters, Mary E. Nieviens and Rita Clark.
Mrs. Willis is survived by her son, Jim Willis and wife Phylis of Cobb, Georgia; daughter, Kim Sumner and husband Ray of Norman Park; daughter in law, Kim Jones of Norman Park; grandchildren, Adam Sumner and Jen Glynn of Marietta, Amy Sumner McLachlan and husband Will of Rochelle, Illinois, Amy Carr Hagan of Woodstock, Georgia, Zach Willis and wife Karah of Tifton, and Sabrina Jones of Moultrie; great grandchildren, Cate Ahrens of Rochelle, Illinois, Kailey Hagan of Woodstock, Chance Willis, Colton Willis, and Timmy Merritt, all of Tifton; brothers, Charlie Baglan and wife Mary Katherine of Batesville, Mississippi and George Baglan of Greenwood Mississippi; sisters, Lynn Swan of Jacksonville, Lottie Bonhomme and husband Pascal of New York, and Debbie Sinnett and husband J.T. of Duluth, Georgia; and lots of nieces and nephews. In addition, she is survived be the "Golden Girls" of Norman Park, Dot Griffin Sumner, and Shirley Anne Galphin, whose friendship began in 1958 and dear friend, Sandra Askew. "Mama lived her life choosing to be happy. What a legacy! We will miss her big, beautiful smile." The family stated.
