Paula Ruth Culpepper Kilgore Rogers Wilson, 81, of Moultrie, departed this life in her sleep on Monday, January 13, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 16, 2025, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Robert McCoy officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Church Cemetery. Chad Kilgore, Phil Gentry, Greg Gentry, Neil Shumans, Jared Collum, and Cole Rogers, will all serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held one hour before the service in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
Born on December 17, 1943, in Adel, Georgia, Paula was one of nine children born to the late Curtis and Katie Loudell Culpepper. Paula dedicated 37 years to Riverside Manufacturing Co., where she worked as a seamstress, crafting with care and precision. She was known for her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and her unwavering commitment to excellence. After retiring, she continued to be an inspiration to all who knew her. She enjoyed cooking for her family and working in her yard.
A woman of deep faith, Paula was a faithful member of Autreyville Baptist Church and a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class, where she spent many years serving the Lord. She loved God with all her heart and was an example of kindness, compassion, and love to everyone she encountered. Her strong faith was the cornerstone of her life and her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lucius Kilgore; her second husband, Wilbur Rogers; her third husband, Max Wilson; sons, Randall Rogers and Douglas Rogers; and brothers, Curtis Rudolph Culpepper and Lewis Lamar Culpepper.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her daughter, Donna Rogers Collum and husband Rick of Moultrie; grandchildren, Danielle Collum, Jared Collum and wife Alaina, Cameren Rogers, and Cole Rogers; her sisters, Annette Gentry and husband Ralph, Martha Gray, Carolyn Kilgore, Katie Samples and husband Curtis, Susan Jacobs and husband David; her brother, Daryl Travis Culpepper; several nieces and nephews; daughter in law, Anjee Rogers Oakley; as well as a stepdaughter, Alana McCoy and husband Richie of Moultrie.
