Paxton Zane Jordan, 14, of Moultrie, died on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Phoebe Worth Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 7, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Josh Purvis and Reverend Shane Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Carson Chaney, Jacob Bodiford, Karly Ramer, Sawyer Pope, Jason Sharpe, and Carson Parker will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
Born on December 29, 2009, he was the son of J.D. Jordan and Jessica Morris Hilton. Paxton was a beloved student at CA Gray Junior High, where he was an active and enthusiastic member of the STEM-X program, a testament to his curiosity and love for learning. Known for his sharp mind and an insatiable passion for technology, Paxton enjoyed creating content on YouTube and connecting with friends and followers through his unique sense of humor and creativity. He loved playing video games, watching anime, and exploring the outdoors on his four-wheeler, filling each day with adventure.
Paxton’s life was a testament to his deep love for Jesus Christ; his faith was a guiding light in all he did. His excitement for the future was primarily centered on his soon-to-be-born baby sister, Matilyn Elizabeth Hilton, whom he was eager to meet and protect. Paxton’s love for his family, friends, and faith will remain a lasting gift to all who knew him. He was of the Baptist faith, and he attended Hopewell Baptist Church.
Paxton was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wayne Morris.
He is survived by his mother, Jessica Morris Hilton and husband Matt of Moultrie; father, J.D. Jordan and wife Lacy of Sylvester; brothers and sisters, Carson Chaney, Jacob Bodiford, Sawyer Jordan, Rilyn Hilton, and Saylor Jordan; grandparents, Kathy Morris of Palm Bay, FL, Ronnie and Rene Jordan of Moultrie, Lisa Hilton of Moultrie, and Sandy and Ed Marsh; aunts and uncles, Ronald and Casea Jordan, Amber and Carl Ramer, Jeremy Christensen, Colt and Nakeya Chaney, and Kyle Morris; cousins, Hudson Jordan, Isaiah Rodriguez, Sophia Rodriguez, Karly Ramer, Tre Ramer, and Everleigh Chaney; and a host of friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the STEM-X program at CA Gray Junior High.
