Phillip Duane Allum

Capt. Phillip Duane Allum USMC Ret. Age 86, of Moultrie, died peacefully in his home on December 31, 2020.

No formal services will be held.

Born in Roanoke, Alabama, he was the son of the late Tom and Nellie Tolleson Allums. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp until his retirement in 1974. He did 3 tours in Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star and received two Purple Hearts. He was of the Baptist faith.

Capt. Allum is survived by his wife, Peggy Allum of Moultrie; his children Lisa Coulter (David), Kelly (Rick) Wortley, Todd (Teenie) Allum, his grandchildren Cristy Skeen, Christopher Ledden, Piper Burgstiner, Spencer Wortley, Mahirah Allum, Khairiyah Allum and 8 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his son, Phillip Duane Allum Jr. and grandson Phillip Hunter Allum.
