Ralph Jeff Bruce

Ralph Jefferson Bruce, 67, of Hartsfield, passed away at his home surrounded by family on Sunday, September 15, 2024. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Shannon Partain officiating. 

The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. 

Born on January 21, 1957, in Norman Park, Georgia, he was the son of the late James Cochran Bruce and Liller Vanvera Collins. Mr. Bruce retired from Reeves Properties after 30 years of work as a handyman and was of the Christian faith. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his late wife, Kathie Jean Bruce; daughters, Patricia Bruce and Jessica Lynn Bruce Powell; and grandchild, Elijah Partain. 

Mr. Bruce is survived by his wife, Brenda Bowman Bruce; son, James Duckworth; daughter, Katie Partain and husband Reverend Shannon; step-children, Dorothy Ann Bowman and Bruce Bishop, Jr.; grandchildren, Ashley, Kaleigh, Morgan, Kelsie, Blakelyn, Dillyn, Cody, Casey, Kannan, Isaiah, Silas, Addison, Israel, and Aaliyah; and great-grandchildren, Addison, Kaylin, Kyler, McKenna, and Colton.
