Raymond Wilson Kilgore

Raymond Wilson Kilgore, 63, of Pavo, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at his home.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 25, 2023, at Emerald Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Plymel officiating. Michael Kilgore, Emily Cook, Scott Royal, Greg Royal, Pierce Gandy, and Ryan Gandy will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Emerald Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born on January 14, 1960, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Harvy Wilson Kilgore and Mary Frances Tinsley Kilgore. He was a farmer and was a member of Emerald Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Craig Wilson Kilgore; and brothers, Lonnie Kilgore, Douglas Kilgore, and Dennis Kilgore.
Mr. Kilgore is survived by his wife, Ruby Mae Boyd Kilgore of Pavo; sons, Kevin and Bailey Kilgore of Pavo, and Cory and Avery Poole of Albany; daughters, Maria and Chad Purdom of Pavo, and Heather and Cheryl Kilgore of Pavo; brothers, Roger and Tina Kilgore of Cairo, and James Kilgore of Moultrie; sisters, Betty and Ernie Dukes of Coolidge, Laverne Yawn of Moultrie, and Alice Wade of Moultrie; grandchildren, Madison Purdom, Taylor Purdom and David Duan, Everlee Kilgore, and Jackson Strack; and great-granddaughter, Auora Duan.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 on Sunday, September 24, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
