Raymond Joseph Ledford (photo) MOULTRIE Raymond Joseph Ledford, 88, of Moultrie, died Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Park Regency of Moultrie. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 15, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Baker Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Andy Cashwell will officiate, assisted by Pastor Morris Pittman. Pallbearers will be Bob Croy, Zacahery Eichhorn, Leonard Eichhorn, Justin Hargraves, Tom Ray and Bubba Newton. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Crosby, David Morris, Ricky Weeks, James Motley. Mr. Ledford was born Oct. 3, 1926, in Colquitt County, son of the late John Thomas Ledford and Pearl Mercer Ledford. He was retired from Swift and Company, and he was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Newton Ledford; a son and daughter-in-law, Max and Debbie Ledford; and a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas Ledford and wife Mildred. Survivors include two sons, Karl Ledford and wife Lauren of Tucker, Ga., and Ronnie Ledford and wife Linda of Venice, Fla.; a brother, Ray Ledford and wife Jo of Raleigh, N.C.; a sister, Fran Keating of Dunwoody, Ga.; grandchildren, Lydia Ledford of New York City, Ansley Ledford of Seattle, Wash., Megan Ledford of Lawrenceville, Ga., Lindsey Ledford of Hyattsville, Md., Katie Ledford of Atlanta and Laura Duncan of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and a great-grandchild, Avery Duncan of St. Petersburg, Fla. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Monday, June 15, at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at Raymond's Pond House.
