Raymond Sharrod Register Jr.MOULTRIE - Raymond Sherrod Register Jr., 84, ofMoultrie died Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Colquitt RegionalMedical Center.Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, May 9,at First United Methodist Church chapel. The Rev. RickTurner will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Joe Smith.Interment will be at Pinecrest Memory Gardens.Pallbearers will be Wesley Tysus, Robert Persons, BlakeFlowers, Chase Flowers, Chris Tysus and Darrell Flowers.Mr. Register was born Nov. 9, 1931, in Moultrie toRaymond Sherrod Register Sr. and Mary Whitt Register,both deceased. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was ownerand operator of Register and Taylor Pharmacy, and he wasa member of the First United Methodist Church.Survivors include his wife, Jean Dempsey Register ofMoultrie; a son, Raymond Sherrod Register III of Moultrie;two daughters, Chris Register Tyus and husband Chris ofSchellmam, Ga.; and Debbie Register Flowers of Moultrie; asister, Dorothy Register Mills of St. Petersburg, Fla.; grandchildren, Wesley Tyus, Amy Tyus Persons, Blake Flowersand Chase Flowers; and six great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Registerand Estelle Register Taylor.Visitation will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 9, one hour priorto the service.Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker FuneralHome.
