Reece Henry Vaughn

Reece Henry Vaughn, 83, of Moultrie, died Friday, February 19, 2021 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 21, 2021 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Cashwell officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Freddie Vaugh, Chris Tillman, Tye Wynn, Murdock Wynn, Lamer Vaughn, and Mick Vaughn will serve as pallbearers.
Born on August 14, 1937 in Shannon, Georgia, he was the son late Henry Vaughn and Lilly Mae Williams Vaughn. He worked in the pulpwood industry and was of the Baptist Faith.
Mr. Vaughn is survived by his wife, Elaine Saxton Vaughn of Moultrie; sons, David Vaughn and wife Daniela, Lamer Vaughn and wife Regina of Moultrie, and Eddie Vaughn and wife Linda of Pavo; brother, Freddie Lee Vaughn and wife Margie of Ochlocknee; sisters, Claudia Tillman and husband Donnie of Moultrie; Joella Bullard of Rockage, Florida; Mammie Sue Barber of Moultrie, Shirley Buckler of Sylvester; 5 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 PM in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home on Sunday, February 21, 2021.
