Regina Sue Hester Connell

Regina Hester Connell PELHAM, Ga. Regina Hester Connell, 66, of Pelham and formerly of Moultrie, died Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. The Rev. Herman Hampton will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey A. Newell, John Glover, Mike Mitchell, Wade Dillon, Michael Dillon and James Alton Connell. Jeff C. Newell will serve as honorary pallbearer. Mrs. Connell was born Nov. 1, 1948, in Moultrie to Mary Elizabeth Hester of Moultrie and the late Robert Luther Hester. She was a law firm secretary and a Baptist. In addition to her mother, survivors include her son, Clayton DeWayne Connell and fiancee Janet Martin Welch of Moultrie; a daughter, Tamara Tyson and husband Marshall of Pelham; grandchildren, Andrew Tyson and Kaitlyn Tyson of Pelham, and Jaylin McCammon of Moultrie. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Minnie Ree Jones and Thomas Martin Jones, and Maggie Boyd Hester and Robert Hester.
