Richard James King, 68, of Moultrie, died Sunday, August 2, 2020, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2020 in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Nix officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Born on September 23, 1951 in Lancaster, Ohio, he was the son of the late Roger N. King and Nova King. He retired after 22 years from the United States Air Force. He also retired after 20 years from Civil Services at Moody Air Force Base and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister in law, Twila J. King.
Mr. King is survived by his wife of 48 years, Deborah Edwards King of Moultrie; son, Mark King and wife Sonja of Moultrie; daughters, D'Leigh White and husband Craig of Lincolnton, GA and Mary Schnieders and husband Craig of Myrtle Beach, SC; brothers, Roger E. King of Logan, OH, Robert M. King and wife Barbara of Oxford, MS, and John W. King and wife Pam of Logan, OH; grandchildren, Travis Register, Ariel Register, Haley Holloway, Alyssia Miller, Azriela Miller, Jenna King, Aryanna Miller and Baylee King; and great grandchild, Graycie Rose Holloway.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
