Robert Eugene "Gene" Willis

Robert Eugene “Gene” Willis, 57, of Omega, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021, at his residence.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Donnie Willis, Martin Sullivan, Jacob Deal, Matt Norman, Robbie Davis, and Nick Davis will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Willis was born on July 26, 1964, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of Carolyn Ann Oliver Willis and the late A.D. Willis. He was a construction worker with Southern Concrete and was of the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, A.D. Willis.
Mr. Willis is survived by his mother, Carolyn Willis of Omega; sons, Travis Willis and wife Kristy of Moultrie, and Adam Willis and fiancée Krissy Harrison of Omega; brothers, Ricky Willis and wife Susan of Norman Park, and Don Willis and wife Tammye of Norman Park; sister, Susan Whittington and husband Wade of Norman Park; grandchildren, Cotton Willis, Kynsleigh Willis, Kason Willis, Aden Willis, Sandra Harrison, and Casey Harrison.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 AM at Bethel Baptist Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
