Rodney O'Neal

Rodney Duane O’Neal, 75, of Norman Park, passed away at Colquitt Regional Medical Center on Saturday, February 22, 2025. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 28, 2025, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Shannon Partain officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. Noah O'Neal, Isiah Walters, Levi Kirbo, Reece Giddins, Robert Winn, and  Carlos Hurst will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.

Born on November 1, 1949, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Ernest Tallmadge O’Neal and Etha Grace Young O’Neal. Mr. O’Neal was a machinist for M&M Mars and worked for Cooper Tire. He served in the United States Navy. Rodney was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon, among others, for his service in Vietnam. He was of the Baptist faith. 

Mr. O’Neal is survived by his son, Sean O’Neal of Moultrie; daughter, Amanda Kristan O’Neal of Moultrie; grandchildren, Aurora Kirbo Giddens and husband William Reese, Thomas Levi Kirbo, V, Haili Grace Martinez, Meredith Lane Kirbo, Kaitlyn Gail O’Neal, and Noah Austin O’Neal; great-grandchild, Alijah Jayco Terrell; brother, Keith O’Neal and wife Judy of Thomasville; and sister, Gail Phillips of Shannon, North Carolina.
