Roland Edward Hobby NORMAN PARK Roland Edward Hobby, 66, of Norman Park, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Ga. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5, at Crosland Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Creek Church Cemetery with Sonny Baker, Stacey Rutledge, Terry Roberts, Steve Saunders, Mike Pierce, Steve Pierce and Lee Walker serving as pallbearers. Born Sept. 11, 1946, in Norman Park, he was the son of the late Clethan Henry Hobby and Jimmie Bryant Hobby. He was a farmer and a member of Crosland Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Rodney Christopher Hobby; and a brother, Bobby L. Hobby. Survivors include his wife, Sandra J. Ivey Hobby of Norman Park; son, Travis Edward Hobby and wife Mandy of Norman Park; daughters, Rhonda Rae Ulm of Omega and Tanya Suzanne Kleine and husband Rocky of TyTy, Kasey Keys of Rocky Face, GA; Step-sons, Jeffery Bailey and fiancée Brandy, and Joshua Dean, all of Sycamore, Ga.; brother, Cleveland H. Hobby and wife Ann of Live Oak, Fla.; sister, Mary Lee Barnes of Riverview, Fla.; grandchildren, Jonathon Hobby, Jacob Hobby, Tyson Hobby, Turner Hobby, Josh Roberts and wife Heather, Briannah Ulm, Brook Ulm, Kelsey Cox, McKenzie Cox, Brayden Kleine, Brooklyne Kleine, Brody Kleine and Breiley Kleine; and great-grandchildren, Lily Roberts and Tobyn Hobby.
