Ronald Lee Baker, 84, of Norman Park, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. 

A memorial service to honor his life will be held at a later date.

He was born on August 31, 1940, to the late Roy Lee Baker and Elizabeth Hargrove Baker. Ronald dedicated much of his life to farming, cultivating the land with hard work and passion. For many years, he was known for his deep commitment to the farming community and tireless effort to provide for his family and others.

In his later years, Ronald found a new love in mullet fishing. He enjoyed spending countless hours on his airboat. His enthusiasm for fishing was matched by his love of cooking. Ronald often hosted gatherings at his cookshack, where friends and family would gather to enjoy good food, great company, and countless memories. Ronald's warm spirit, generosity, and love for his family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, his preceded in death by his brother, Dale Baker.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Jarrelle Sumner Baker; children, Julie Baker Gay (Chad) and Roy Lee Baker II (Julie Pham); grandchildren, Madison Montgomery, Ryan Parkerson, Alexis Weeks, Bryleigh Richter, and Gavin Parkerson; great-granddaughter, Evelyn Richter; brother, Jerry Baker (Marie)

Arrangements entrusted to Baker Funeral Home and Crematory.
