Rondle Phillips PAVO Rondle Phillips, 60, of Pavo, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital in Phenix City, Ala. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 3, at Ione Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Terron Stonecypher officiating. Born July 5, 1953, in Thomasville, Ga., he was the son of the late Harvey Phillips and Bobbie Paramore Phillips. He was a self-employed truck driver and he was a member of Ione Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by brothers, Bud Phillips, Ted Phillips and Albert Phillips. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jean Folsom Phillips of Pavo; son, Joseph Phillips and wife Faith of Moultrie; daughters, Melisa Phillips and Greg of Thomasville, Barbara Gibson and husband Michael of Pavo, Justina Jones and husband Chris of Pavo and Shannon Braswell of Pavo; brother, Jim Phillips and wife Naomi of Moultrie; sisters, Peggy Kimbrell of Texas, Shirley Smith and husband Jerry of Thomasville and Diane Phillips; sister-in-law, Carolyn Phillips of Statesboro, Ga.; and grandchildren, Tiffany Phillips, Brittnay Phillips, Haley Gibson, Will Braswell, Jaylee Jones, Joey Phillips, Devon Phillips and Cody Phillips. Visitation will be, on Monday, from 1 to 2 p.m., at the church. Donations may be made to Christian Riders for Christ. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
