Roscoe Wingate, Jr. age 71 of Doerun passed away Saturday October 13, 2018 at Pruitt Health Care after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Wingate was born December 27, 1946 in Doerun to the late Roscoe Wingate, Sr. and Myrtice Gunn Wingate. He served in the U S Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, a former employee of MCLB Albany and an entrepreneur involved in multiple business through the years.
Mr. Wingate is survived by his sons, Brent Wingate and wife Julie of Sylvester, Michael Wingate of West Palm Beach, FL; sisters, Carole Hilliard and husband Larry of Douglas, Kathy Murphy and husband Gary of Tifton; grandchildren, Michael Wingate and wife Amber and Kevin Wingate both of Sylvester.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
