Roy Adam Butler, 47, of Moultrie, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 21, 2021, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, with Rev. Julian Griner officiating.
Mr. Butler was born on March 18, 1974, in Vero Beach, Florida; he was the son of Sheryl Kay Partington Butler and the late James Rhett Butler. He worked in farm maintenance for Sanderson Farms, and he was a member of The Church of God.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Regina Denise Sharp and Suzanne Marjean Childers.
Mr. Butler is survived by his loving wife, Tonya Rogers Butler of Moultrie; mother, Sheryl Kay Partington Butler of Hartsfield; sons, Khy Butler, and AJ Terrell and wife Kaitlyn of Moultrie; daughter, Desaray Smithwick and husband Jeff of Moultrie; brothers, James Edwin Butler of Moultrie, Wayne Lamar Butler and Kay Jackson of Doerun, Phillip Lee Butler and wife Gail of Funston, Matthew Jack Butler of Hartsfield and wife Shauna, and Daniel J. Butler and wife Julie of Funston; sister, Cassandra Coleen Burgess of Cairo; and grandchildren, Sy Bracken, Anthony Terrell, Braiden Terrell, Zain Terrell, Areya Cornelious, Alijah Terrell, Little Jeff Smithwick, Jaceleigh Smithwick, and Jaxx Smithwick.
