MOULTRIE - Roy Lester Hall, Sr., 80, of Moultrie, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, at his residence. Services will be Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 3 p.m. , at Baker Funeral Home with the Rev. Lennon Howell officiating assisted by the Rev. Alan Tillman and the Rev. Jason Morgan. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jody Brown, Pat Cochran, Jimmy Thompson, Randall Norman, Charles Robinson, and Ronnie Fender. Honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas Hall and Noah Hall. Born on June 19, 1935, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Ira Lester Hall and Beatrice Jones Hall. He was retired from Proctor and Gamble, a U.S. Navy veteran, and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Gene Hall; and two sisters, Nell McCall, and Bernice Bradshaw; and his stepmother, Nadine Hall. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Hall; son, Roy Lester Hall, Jr., and wife Mary Melissa of Thomasville; daughter, Tonya Hall Lucas and husband Joel of Moultrie; brothers, Carson Hall and wife Jackie of Ingles, Fla., and Randy Hall and wife Erma of Quitman; sisters, Gwen Braswell and husband Ken of Moultrie, and Judy Peek of Ft. Myers, Fla.; grandchildren, Nicholas Hall, Noah Hall, Braylee Hall, Jamie Lucas, Danielle Lucas, and Bailey Lucas; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 15, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.
