Ruby Lucille Alligood Mitchell DOERUN Ruby Lucille Alligood Mitchell, 91, of Doerun, died Sunday, May 31, 2015 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 6. The Rev. Josh Myrick will officiate, and Jack Roland will deliver the eulogy. Mrs. Mitchell was born April 5, 1924, in Inverness, Fla., the daughter of the late John Thomas Alligood and Sula Common Taylor Alligood. A Southern Baptist, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and she was retired as a school teacher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Mitchell; a brother, Jake Alligood; and a sister, Grace McRoberts. Survivors include her son, Darell Smith and wife Jana of Doerun; her daughter, Carole Losie and husband Jim of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
