Ruby Virginia Taylor, 80, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, at the Archbold Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Dee officiating. Burial will follow in Waterloo Church Cemetery with Justin Moore, Jason Gibbs, Pax Clark, Mickey Galloway, Randy Davis, Ken Allbrooks, Brandon Jarvis and Drew Whittington serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Conner and Ethan Taylor. Born April 29, 1931, in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Eugene Taylor and Mattie Lee Wright Taylor. She was a cook with Barber's Drive-In in Moultrie. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by brothers, Eddie Taylor and Johnny Taylor; sisters, Bessie Knight and Bobbie June Swinson; a niece, Faye Warburg; and a nephew, Ronnie Taylor. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Judy Jarvis, Geraldine Sellers, Jackie Taylor, Roy Taylor, Carl Knight, Paul Knight, Eddie "Junior" Taylor and Kathy Merritt; many great-nieces and nephews to whom she was a special aunt said her family.
