Russell Horace NasworthyNORMAN PARK, Ga. -Russell Horace Nasworthy, 85, of Norman Park, died Monday, June 27, 2016, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.Funeral service will be 11 a.m.Thursday, June 30, at Weeks Chapel United Methodist Church with burial in Weeks Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Dan Robinson will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Charles Walker. Pallbearers will be John Beverly, Josh Beverly, Kane Hogan, Zane Hogan, LoganHampton and Mike Hampton. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Weeks, Tony Sellers, Billy Beverly, Randy Weeks and Bobby Back.Mr. Nasworthy was born Aug. 27, 1930, in Norman Park, son of the late William Sam Nasworthy and Coral Lee Jones Nasworthy. He was a member of Weeks Chapel United Methodist Church. A lifetime Colquitt County farmer, he always had a great garden, his family said. He loved to coon hunt and deer hunt, and he enjoyed his live- stock.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sudie Weeks Nasworthy, his childhood sweet- heart, to whom he was married for 63 years. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd Nasworthy and James Nasworthy; a brother-in-law, Jacob Conger; a sister, Laurene Conger; and two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Nasworthy and Bertha Nasworthy.Survivors include a daughter, Donna Walker and hus- band Jerry of Norman Park; a brother, Doyle Nasworthy and wife Susan of Ft.
