Sammie Lee Webb Brown MOULTRIE Sammie Lee Webb Brown, 76, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Unihealth Post Acute Care of Moultrie. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Friday, March 1, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Dee officiating, assisted by the Rev. Chris Walden. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens with Rev.Roger Mays officiating the graveside service. Born June 29, 1936, in Madison, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Samuel Tilden Webb and Lizzie Lee Lyons Webb. She was a self-employed care-giver and a member of Young Christian Crusade. She was preceded in death by her husband, Linwood Thomas Brown Survivors include her sons, Richard Dale Hurst and wife Toni of Live Oak, Fla., and William Dean Welch and fiancée Nawana of Moultrie; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Brown Murphy and husband Clint of Athens, Ga.; a special brother, Don Webb and wife Joan of Dothan, Ala.; grandchildren, Kimberly Washington, Jamie Hurst, Cari Welch, Kristi Welch, Rachel Murphy and Sarah Murphy; great-grandchildren, Journey Aust, Landry Aust and Jaylen McCammon; and special friends,(like sisters) Sue Brock and Carroll Miller. Visitation will be today, Feb. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. The family may be contacted at the home of Dean Welch, 1463 Ga. Hwy. 319 South.
