Sarah Gibson Jackson

Sarah Gibson Jackson, 89, of Moultrie, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. 

Born on April 4, 1935, in Thomasville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Braxton Craven Gibson and Sarah Faircloth Gibson. Mrs. Jackson was a retired school teacher and was of the Presbyterian faith. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbur Jay Jackson and second husband Robert Joines; her four brothers, Braxton C. Gibson, Wilburn Gibson, Frank Gibson, and Bert Gibson and sister, Dorothy Kelly. 

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her son, Joel Jackson and wife Donna of Panama City, Florida; daughter, Karen Jackson of Moultrie, Georgia; grandchildren, Kacey Bowen, Katey Jackson and Anita Marie Jackson; great grandchildren, Bryson, Lorna, Ellie, Soren, and Kyro.
