Sarah Frances Lindsey Weeks LENOX - Sarah Frances Lindsey Weeks, 89, died Oct. 5, 2015, in Adel, Ga. Services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Weeks Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dan Robinson and the Rev. Walter Powell officiating. Interment will take place at Weeks Chapel Cemetery in Norman Park. Casketbearers will be Jeffrey Clark, Alex McBryde, Bradley Hembree, Jason Lawson, Timothy Weeks and Stevie Walker; Honorary Casketbearers the men of Weeks Chapel United Methodist Church. Born on July 12, 1926, she was the daughter of Leonard Griffin Lindsey, Sr., and Opal Harrison Lindsey. She was homemaker and a member of Weeks Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, George Earnest Weeks; and one son, Larry Earnest Weeks. Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Faye Powell and husband, Marty, of Omega, Sarah Ann Clark and husband, Paul, of Lenox, and Norma Jane Hembree and husband, Serell, of Omega; one daughter-in-law, Lawanda Weeks, of Omega; brother, Leonard Griffin Lindsey, Jr., amd wife, Marjorie, of Adel; sister, Edna Louise Lindsey Gandy, of Moultrie Lenox Road; grandchildren, Jeffrey Clark and wife, Cindy, Teresa McBryde and husband, Alex, Stacey Walker and husband, Stevie, Bradley Hembree and wife, Stephanie, April Meeker and Frank Kilbury, Katrina Lawson and husband, Jason, Michelle Rowan, Timothy Weeks and Vanessa, and Michael Weeks and wife, Lori; and 22 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 6, at Baker Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
