Scotty Lee Jones, 58, of Norman Park, passed away at South Georgia Medical Center on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Weeks Chapel Church with Reverend Blaine Walden officiating. David Davis, Kenron Elkins, Dylan Harrell, Jay Powell, Nathan Lane, and Gaige Kelley will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Weeks Chapel Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Born on April 19, 1966, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Mary Ellen Wright and Willie Coy "Pete" Jones. Mr. Jones was an International Poultry Breeder and a member of Weeks Chapel Church. He was a very loved father, grandfather, and employee. He was a professed horse whisperer and all-around outdoorsman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Elkins; and brother, Steve Jones.
Mr. Jones is survived by his sons, Austin Jones and wife Stephanie, Michael Lee Jones, and Scotty “Levi” Jones II; daughter, Brittany Jones; and grandchildren, Kaleb Jones, Henry Jones, Raelynn Jones, Emma Grace Jones, Jackson Jones, and Leeanna Jones.
