Shannon Marcus Norman, 48, of Norman Park, died Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Voyles, Rev. Wayne Smith, and Rev. Dudley Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Wrights Chapel Cemetery. Glenn Chafin, Skyler Lindsey, Kent Hamilton, Jon Schwalls, Randy Hart, and Reeves Foy will serve as pallbearers.
Born on July 1, 1972, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of Marcus Wade Norman and Marie Inett Miller Norman. He was a farm manager and was of the Baptist Faith.
He is preceded in death his grandparents; George Thomas and Flossie Norman, Coy and Bessie Lou Miller; and a step grandmother, Lorene Miller.
Mr. Norman is survived by his parents, Wade and Inett Norman of Moultrie; wife, Kristie Salter Norman of Norman Park; sons, Michael Norman and wife Courtney of Adel, and Matt Norman and wife Jessica of Norman Park; sister, Stacy Goolsby and husband Vance of Albany; and grandchildren, Drayton Norman, Lena Kate Norman, Sawyer Norman, and Waylon Norman.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, September 5, 2020 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
