Sheryl Ann Hamilton

Sheryl Ann Boyd Hamilton, 74, of Moultrie, passed away Monday, June 24, 2024, at Cobblestone Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. 

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, 27, 2024, June at Schley Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Julian Griner officiating. Born on November 29, 1949, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Boyd and Minnie Agnes Giddens Boyd. Mrs. Hamilton was a homemaker, she loved doting on and taking care of her family, baking, cooking, and sewing, and was of the Baptist faith. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Hamilton, Jr.; and daughter, Sheryl Anita Hamilton. Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her sons, Anthony Hamilton and wife Sheree, Jeffery Hamilton and wife Michelle, and Christopher Hamilton and wife Angel; grandchildren, Raven Hamilton, Dylan Hamilton, Eddie Hamilton, Abby Hamilton, and Jonathan Hamilton; great-granddaughter, Cora Hamilton; brothers, Ronald Boyd, David Boyd, and Steve Boyd; and sister, Janice Clayton. 

The family would like to thank her special caretakers, Lesley, Keke, Ashley, and Ms. Thomas at Colquitt Regional Senior Care. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
