Shirley Mae Frazier Powers MOULTRIE Shirley Mae Frazier Powers, 63, of Moultrie, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today, March 17, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Rose of Sharon Cemetery. The Rev. Ronald Barrett will officiate, assisted by Pastor Cathy Johnson. Mrs. Powers' grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Powers was born Oct. 31, 1949, in Lakeland, Georgia, daughter of the late Clifford Frazier and Gertrude Fender Frazier Wren. She was a retired seamstress at Sunstate and a member of New Life Tabernacle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Lyman Powers, and a sister, Betty McCorkle. Survivors include her sons, Willis L. Powers Jr. and wife Debbie of Sylvester, Ricky Allen Powers and wife Chantal of Tampa, Fla., and Glen Adams Powers and wife Laurie of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughters, Sandra Marie White and husband Ricky of Sylvester, Tammy L. Abanathy and husband Carl of Hawkinsville, Ga., and Pamela Michelle Douglas and husband Nathan of Sylvester; a brother, David R. Frazier of Sylvester; a sister, Hazel Dent of Sylvester; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. today at Baker Funeral Home.
