Thelma Tyson Dunlap, 86, of Moultrie, died Thursday, November 14, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 17, 2019 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Cashwell Officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Born on September 2, 1933, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Will Tyson and Esther Elizabeth Saturday Tyson. She worked as a dental assistant for over 40 years and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Hicks Dunlap; and siblings, Lacy Tyson, Bobby Tyson, and Betty Hargraves.
Mrs. Dunlap is survived by her daughter Cindy Dunlap McQueen and Joe McQueen of Moultrie; grandchildren, Jason McQueen of Moultrie and Zack McQueen of Moultrie; great grandchildren, Jaxxton Ryan McQueen, Charlye Faith McQueen, Harper Madison McQueen, and Patton Reid McQueen; sister, Dorothy Brazeau and husband Wayne of Moultrie; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
