Thelma Gay Flowers Weeks NORMAN PARK Thelma Gay Flowers Weeks, 77, of Norman Park, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Burial will follow in Sardis Church Cemetery. Born Aug. 11, 1936, in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Gay and Ella Mae Barber Gay. She was a housekeeper with the Georgia Baptist Conference Center and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by brothers, Cecil Darrell Gay and Ray Gene Gay; and sisters, Joyce Gay Nelms, Nelda Jan Gay and Wanda Gail Gay. Survivors include sons, Willie "Johnny" Flowers and wife Colene of Norman Park and Jermey Weeks of Norman Park; daughter, Pamela Marie Weeks of Norman Park; brother, Benny Gay and wife Connie of Thomasville; sister, Patricia Ann Bell of Berlin; grandchildren, John Henry "Hank" Flowers and wife Melissa of Moultrie, Misty Sheree Flowers of Moultrie, April Weeks of Norman Park, and Brittany Wood Hasty and husband Joshua of Norman Park; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
