Thomas Wayne Davis (photo) HARTSFIELD Thomas Wayne Davis, 72, of Hartsfield, died Thursday, June 11, 2015, in Worth County. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, at Baker Funeral Home with burial in Hartsfield Cemetery. The Rev. Tom Rodgers will officiate. Mr. Davis was born May 24, 1943, in Moultrie, to Joseph Bernard Davis & Marjorie Gwynell Green Davis. He was a Baptist and had been an inspector with Firestone Tires. On June 7, he celebrated his 45th anniversary of marriage to Linda Janett Herndon Davis of Hartsfield. In addition to his wife, Mr. Davis is survived by two sons, Gary Wayne Davis & wife Jana of Monroe, Ga., and Thomas Jason Davis of Pensacola, Fla.; a brother, Joseph Harry Davis of Florida; a nephew, Joseph Ryan Davis of Moultrie; and grandchildren, Mia Sloane Davis, Lena Aslyn Davis and Joseph Aydan Davis. The family will receive friends 3-6 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at 1140 Perryman Road in Hartsfield and 1-2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at Baker Funeral Home. A donation may be made to the family.
