Thomas Marvin Watts MOULTRIE Thomas Marvin Watts, 70, of Moultrie died Thursday, June 19, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Hugh Ward officiating. Interment will be in Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be Jerry Watts, Jorge Martinez, Mitchell Peavy, Mike Hunnicutt and Bruce Conger. Born Nov. 28, 1943, in Goodwater, Ala., Mr. Watts was the son of the late James Thomas Watts and Nell Burtis Allen Watts. He was a farm hand and of the Baptist faith. He was married to Linda Sue Busby Watts of Moultrie. In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons, Marvin DeWayne Watts of Moultrie, Marvin Jason Watts and wife Martha of Adel, and Daniel Floyd Watts and wife Mary of Moultrie; a brother, Jerry Watts of Norman Park; three sisters, Joyce Hunnicutt and husband Michael of Ocala, Fla., Mary Norman and husband Junior of Moultrie, and Shirley Ann Watts of Nashville; grandchildren Dixie Leigh Watts, and Jacy Lane Watts. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel Floyd Watts and James Parvin Watts; and three sisters, Sara Nell Lopez, Jo Ann Dorman, and Dorothy Taft. Visitation will be one hour prior to services from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
