Thurman Eugene Laseter DOERUN - Thurman Eugene Laseter, 76, died Sunday, March 27, 2016, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center . Services will be Thursday, March 31, at 2 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Eubanks officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be Mr. Laseter's grandsons. Born on Dec. 19, 1939, in Norman Park, he was the son of the late Henry Kelly Laseter and Emma Elizabeth Morse Laseter. He was a truck driver with Industrial Lumber, a veteran of the U.S. Marines, and of the baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Laseter. Survivors include his wife, Iris Elaine Bishop Laseter; sons, Thomas Joseph Laseter of Moultrie, and David Bratcher and wife Kathy, of Doerun; daughters, Susan Zela and Husband DavidWynn of Moultrie, and Levia Ann Fussell and husband Sam ofWhite Plains, Ga; brother, Henry "Buddy" Laseter and wife Beverly of Moultrie,; Sister, Betty Jean Laseter Gatlin, of Avon Park, Fla.; grandchildren, Melissa Adkins and husband John of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jason Daughtry of Moultrie, Samantha Wynn of Moultrie, KathrynWynn of Moultrie, Jessica Kufel and husband Sean of Merrietta, Ohio, Elizabeth Peterson and husband Travis of Augusta, Ga., Brittany Stamper and husband Eric ofWhite Plains, Ga., Kathryn Fussell, and Orin Fussell both of Augusta, Ga., Auston Bratcher, Logan Bratcher, and Annakate Bratcher, all of Doerun; and great-grandchildren, Avery Atkins,Wyatt Atkins, Owen Kufel, Evelyn Kufel, Triston Stamper, and Vash Peterson.
