Tommy Rabon Suber, 76, of Pavo, died Saturday July 15, 2017 at his residence. Funeral Service will be held Sunday July 16, 2017 at 3:00pm with Rev. Rick Mann officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. He was born on January 23,1941 in Pavo, to Oliver Lester Suber and Ruth Connell Suber Perry. He served in the National Guard for 8 and a half years. He worked as a salesman for Blossman Gas in Quitman, then he worked in Maintenance at Colquitt Reginal Medical Center, Lake Chateau and Wildwood Apartments. After his retirement, he enjoyed working with flowers and plants. He was a very talented man and would do anything for anybody. He graduated high school from Pavo in 1959. Then he married Hazel Delain Houston on September 24, 1961. He was preceded in death by wife, Hazel Delain Houston Suber in May of 2015; children, Bill Oliver Suber, Ronald Rabon Suber, Walter Lee Suber, and Tammy Michele Suber. Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Elkins and husband Terry of Cairo, and 2 brothers, Carlos Bill Suber and Wife Barbara of Moultrie, Wayne Suber and wife Lynda of Moultrie; grand-daughters, Ashley Suber, Alicia Suber, Amber Suber, Joanie Suber Hamm and husband John. A special thank you to his caregivers; Brenda Lamon, Evin Arrington and Jo Ellen Arrington. Your love and care for him is appreciated. Also, a special thank you goes to the Southwest Georgia Hospice team. Thank you for your love and care that was shown during his final months. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
