Tonya Mathis

Tonya Denise Thompson Mathis, 42, of Moultrie, died Saturday, March 14, 2020 at her home.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and family immediately after the service.
Born on May 9, 1977 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Carl Thompson and Martina Paulk Booth. She worked as a seamstress at Suzanne's Quilt Shop and was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Mathis, Sr.; brother, Travis Thompson.
Mrs. Mathis is survived by her son, Brady Mathis of Montezuma, Georgia; daughter, Montana Mathis of Camilla; grandson, Anthony Mathis of Camilla; brother, Tracy Thompson and wife LeAnn of Florida; sisters, Teresa Chitty of Moultrie, Bonnie Patterson James and husband Jordan, Tammy Mills and husband Craig of Florida Carla Horne and husband Jeff of Florida, and Carol Thompson of Florida; stepmother, Darlene Thompson of Florida; and sister in law, Tonia Thompson of Moultrie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
