Tracy Willis

Tracy Cowart Willis, 53, of Moultrie, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at her home, surrounded by family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Nick Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Davis Howell, Wilder Elliot, Landon Griffin, Caleb Yarbrough, Jackson Glenn, and Zach Branch will serve as pallbearers.
Marcus Anderson will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Born on May 19, 1970, in Albany, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Sampson Milton Cowart and Anne Williford Cowart. Mrs. Willis was employed with the Colquitt County Board of Education as an accomplished and well-respected high school science teacher. She was a wonderful wife, an excellent mother to her daughters, a loving sister, and an inspiring teacher to her students. Mrs. Willis was loved by her family, friends, colleagues, and all of her students. She was also a devoted member of Trinity Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Cowart.
Mrs. Willis is survived by her loving husband, Cliff Willis of Moultrie; daughters, Makenzy Willis Good and husband Jacob of Florence, South Carolina, and Madison Willis of Moultrie; and sister, Sandy Cowart Hendershot and husband Heath of Atlanta, Georgia.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
