Vernon R. Roberts

Vernon R. Roberts, 72, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 7, 2020 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Robert McCoy officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Darrell Meadows, Herbert Connell, Ray Swearingen, and Rodney Brinson will all serve as Casketbearers.
Born on September 28, 1947, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Wade Roberts and Penny Massey Roberts. He retired as the plant manager for Hubbell Diecasting and was a member of Autreyville Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Roberts; and sisters, Lois Roberts, and Lorena Roberts.
Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Terri Lynn Reynolds Roberts of Moultrie; son, Jeffrey Roberts and wife Amanda of Moultrie; daughters, Brandi Kilgore and husband Chad of Moultrie and Niki Jones and husband Lanny of Valdosta; grandchildren, Avery Kilgore, Rylee Kilgore, Sean Jones, Cailynn Jones, Peyton Roberts, Kennedy Roberts, Grason Roberts, and Theo Roberts; brother, Theron Roberts of Moultrie; and sisters, Maomie Roberts and Doris Brinson and husband William, all of Adel.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home from 10:00 am - until the hour of service.
