Viola Hartsfield Giles MOULTRIE Viola Hartsfield Giles, 93, of Moultrie, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Ogeechee Area Hospice of Statesboro, Ga. Gravesides services will be held 11 a.m., today, Sept. 25, at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Born Nov. 9, 1918, in Worth County, she was the daughter of Jim Hartsfield and Katie Davis Hartsfield. She was an active member of New Elm Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir until the decline of her health. She was a homemaker. "She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother," her family remembered of her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Jacob Giles; son, Rufus Jerry Giles; Survivors include daughters, Betty Snook of Statesboro, Ga., and Mary Sellers of Albany, Ga.; grandchildren, Ferrell Sellers and wife Penny of Valdosta, Ga., Glenn Sellers and wife Jodi of Middleburg, Fla., Anita Burton and husband Britt of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Angie Rosengart and husband Russell of Statesboro, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Jay sellers and wife Stacy of Valrico, Fla., Jerod Sellers and Amber Kennedy of Middleburg, Fla., and Jordan and Griffin Rosengart of Statesboro, Ga.; three great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sara Tanner of Moultrie; and daughter-in-law, Patsy Giles.
