Viola Lindsey McNair

Viola Lindsey McNair died of natural causes at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Florida on August 16, 2019 at the age of 84.  She was born on October 4, 1934 in Cuthbert, GA.   She lived in Omega, GA until she retired from JP Stevens and moved to High Springs, FL.  She loved fishing, gardening, country music and square dancing.
Viola is survived by her five children, Hazel (Webb) Mason of Hermanville, MS, Nancy Bentley of Bryon, GA, Trish (Mark) Keohane of Gainesville, FL, Cheryl Cravey of High Springs, FL and Dennis Paul Nichols of High Springs, FL; siblings, George (Frances) Lindsey of Dewillville, NY, Virginia Daniels of Albany, GA, Isabelle Bowman of Omega, GA, Joseph Lindsey of Albany, GA, Wilbur (Charlotte) Lindsey of Albany, GA; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents Irving W. Lindsey and Bessie Mae (Reese) Lindsey and her siblings Henry Lindsey, Irving Lindsey, Jr., Lula Jane Schramm, and Bessie Maude Lindsey.
Graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Omega City Cemetery at 11:00am.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Viola's life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dennis Nichols, 204 Cedar St. Omega, Georgia 31775.
