Wanda Goble

Sarah Wanda Dampier Goble, 73, of Berlin, passed away on Saturday September 16, 2017 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Moree officiating. Born September 21, 1943 in Berlin, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Robert Ray Dampier and Annie Lois Lanier Dampier. She was a retired registered nurse and was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Barker Jackson. Survivors include her loving companion of 17 years, Sammy Liles of Berlin; son, Aaron "Beau" Barker and wife Christie of Ray City; daughter, Allyson Barker Lago of Morristown, New Jersey; four grandchildren, Ava Margaret Lago, Rory Francis Lago, Jacob Matthew Barker, and Sarah Ann Barker; sisters, Kay Williams and husband Roy of Berlin, and Angeline Moree and husband Danny of Moultrie. Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 20, 2017, from 2pm-3pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the Blue Birds of Happiness P.O. Box 40 Moultrie, GA 31768. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
