Warren Junior Hill

Warren Junior Hill, 86, of Moultrie, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11am, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Thomas officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  Casketbearers will be Doug Hill II, Josh Hill, Matt Yates, Garry Hill Jr., George Phillip Jr., and Jot McMurphy. Born on July 15, 1931, in Kouts, Indiana, he was the son of the late Jonathan Warren Hill and Fern Elliot Hill. He was a traffic manager and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Randy Hill; grandchild, Matthew Edward Hill; brothers, Orval Hill and Owen Criswell; sisters, Marie Woods, Mildred Wright, and Florence Herring. Survivors include his wife, Mary M. Wyland Hill of Moultrie; sons, Douglas L. Hill and wife Becky of Walkerton, Indiana, James L. Hill of Moultrie, Garry A. Hill and wife Darlyn of Doerun, and David W. Hill and wife Pam of Funston; daughter, Dona M. Hill of Moultrie; 20 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; and beloved pet, Lady. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018, from 6pm-8pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
