William Leon Bius

William Leon Bius, 86, of Doerun, died Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Regency Hospital in Macon.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Church Cemetery in Worth County.
Born on September 12, 1932, in Doerun., he was the son of the late Daniel Leon Bius and Emmie Lila Callaway Bius. He was a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Margie Rivers.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Faye Rhodes Bius of Doerun; sons, William Martin Bius and wife Denise of Bainbridge, Jason Leon Bius and wife Angie of Moultrie; daughter, Carolyn Bius of Doerun; brother, Daniel Lanier Bius and wife Joyce of Murphy, NC; sisters, Merle Preble Pate of Albany, Julia Claire Etheredge of Doerun; grandchildren, William Jameson Bius, Hannah Paxton Bius, Brittany Croft, and Brandi Root and husband Chris; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2pm - 3pm, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
