William Edward "Eddie" Green

William Edward "Eddie" Green, 78, of Moultrie, died at his home on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. 

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Pinecrest Memory Gardens, with Rev. Ken Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Born on April 24, 1946, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late William Radar Green and Ethel Elizabeth Watson Green.  

Eddie was a dedicated pipe cutter for Maule Aircraft. Known for his meticulous craftsmanship and unwavering work ethic, Eddie made a lasting impact in his field before retiring.  A passionate fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, Eddie cherished every moment spent cheering for his team, sharing his enthusiasm with family and friends. He also deeply loved technology and enjoyed spending hours on his computer, exploring new interests and connecting with others online.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Dean Green and sister, Lilly Margaret Saunders.

Eddie is survived by his brother, Hollis Green of Moultrie; nephews, Billy Saunders of Moultrie, Byron Saunders of Quincy, FL, and Brent Saunders of Tifton; and many extended family and friends.
