William Jackson Hancock,85, of Moultrie, died Friday, June 4, 2021 at his home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 7, 2021 in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Don Hancock, Rev. Brad Bowen and Rev. Randall Kennedy officiating.
Mr. Hancock was born on September 23, 1935, in Alapaha, Georgia. He was the son of the late Reuben Jackson Hancock and Mattie Clara Davis Hancock.
He was a master carpenter for Alcon Construction Company in Albany.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Edith Kirby, Reba Nell McCoy, and Margie Louise Blackburn; brothers, John Winfield Hancock, and Bobby Lewis Hancock; son in law, Dale A. Holt; grandchild, Jennifer Kendall Ivey Sellers; great grandchild, Tyler Norman.
Mr. Hancock is survived by his wife Robbie Nell Hancock of Moultrie; sons, Michael Don Hancock and wife Joanne of Moultrie, William Todd Hancock and Lucille Phillips of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Timothy Scott Hancock of Moultrie; daughter, Teresa Holt of Moultrie; brothers, Roy Howard Hancock of Wauchula, Florida, and Kenneth Wayne Hancock of Wauchula, Florida; sister, Clara Ann Wyckoff and husband Rex of Wauchula, Florida; grandchildren, Christopher Michael Hancock, Sheena Miranda Murray and husband Matt, Jase Michael Lokey, Jim Kendall and Teresa Garrish, Ethan Timothy Hancock, Amelia Myra Hancock, Rebecca Savannah Hancock, William Scott Hancock, Courtney Norman and husband Benny, Amanda Webb and Coleby May, Kellie Powell and Jessie Aysh; great grandchildren, Morgan and Shawn Salsman, Brooke Bennett and Jesus Perales, Hanna Norman, Sierra Norman, Jenna Norman, Dawson Lane, Karison May, Trent Holt, Bailey Powell, Zoe Powell, Kaiden Hancock, Bryson Hancock, Kayla Morris, Isaiah Brown, Eli Putnum, Carson Murray, Adalyn Murray, Ross and Chelsey Ivey, Rae Ivey and Tanner Vereen, Michael Kendall, Beth Kendall; great great grandchildren, Luna Ivey, Brewer Vereen, Ivan Morris, and Elias Perales.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
