William Harvey Parker (photo, veteran) JACKSONVILLE, Fla. William Harvey Parker, 71, of Jacksonville, Fla., died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at Earl B. Hadlow Hospice Center in Jacksonville. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at Leila Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Mr. Parker was born June 23, 1941, in Tampa, Fla., son of the late Robert Lewis Parker Sr. and Emma Pauline Johns Parker. He was employed in industrial electric motor repair and was a veteran of the Air Force. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Jacquelyn Thompson Parker, and his second wife, Myrtle Mae McDaniel Boyd Parker; and a brother, Robert Lewis Parker Jr. Survivors include his son, Clinton Parker & wife Sonya of Jacksonville, Fla.; his stepson, Joey Boyd and wife Mary of Norman Park; his daughter, Sheryle Dutcher of Jacksonville; two stepdaughters, Jackie Passmore and husband Wayne of Doerun and Faye Green and husband Charles of Valdosta; a sister, Emma Pauline "Polly" Parker Davis & husband Donald of Tampa; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Earl B.
