William Daniel Purvis

William Daniel Purvis, age 69 of Doerun, died Saturday November18, 2017 at his residence. No formal service will be held.    Born December 23, 1947 in Norman Park, he was the son of the late Jessie Purvis and Edna Carver Purvis. He was a carpenter and of the Baptist faith.    He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Manning Purvis, Jessie Purvis, Jr. and Robert L. Hitt; sisters, Edna Ethell Regan and Shirley Ann Davis. He is survived by his brother, Buddy C. Purvis and wife Ginger of Leesburg; sisters, Jeanette Moore, Dorothy N. Thompson both of Norman Park, Linda F. Sands of Doerun; sister-in-law, Nancy Purvis of Newton.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
