Winston Earl Walden, age 74, of Doerun passed on to his forever home on the evening of June 1st, 2019 surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 2:00 pm, at Calvary Community Church in Conyers, Georgia with Rev. Franklin Walden, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Stephen Fleischmann, Zachery Walden, Robbie Walden, Randall Walden, Rodney Walden, III, and Dontavious Alridge will all serve as pallbearers.
Born on December 23, 1944, he was the son of the late Samuel Walden and Gillie Mae Bell Walden. Winston, also known as "Winky" by all of his close family and friends, was known for his assiduous work ethic and his heart for his family. He exemplified wisdom and grace throughout his 73years. An avid lover of westerns and front porch sitting, a man of great faith and fire for The Lord, and a man with a sense of humor that could always put a grin on even the most somber, Winston truly did leave a positive encounter with each person he encountered. He was a self-employed Contractor and was of the Christian Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Josh Walden; and brothers, Howard Brown Walden, Melvin Walden, Franklin Walden, and Dewey Walden.
He is survived by his sons, Earl Rodney Walden, and wife Samantha of Moultrie, Samuel Jeffery Walden and wife Jennifer of Doerun, and Robbie Lee Walden and wife Tamela Jean of Doerun; daughter, Connie Juanita Eldred and husband Wade of Covington, Georgia; grandchildren, Kimberly Billings, Earl Rodney Walden, II, Zachery Blake Walden, Lacey Walden, Dillon Walden, Brooke Walden, Jessica Walden, Ariel Walden, Samuel Walden, Robbie Walden, Randall Walden, Christy Fleischmann, Steven Lipoma, Alana Lipoma, and Gena Lipoma; great grandchildren, James Billings, Peyton Billings, Jacob Billings, Lawson Walden, Aliza Walden, Preston Walden, Drifton Gibney, Addison Walden, Aubree Walden, Allyssa Walden, Carlee Spring Fleischmann, Brookyln Olivia Walden and Blakely Walden; brother, John Walden of Conyers; and sisters, Aileen Owens of St. Augustine, and Willie Mae Arnold and husband Darrell of Conyers, whom he cherished each relationship with. Winston Walden will be missed dearly.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 12pm - until the hour of service in Sanctuary of Calvary Community Church in Conyers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
