WL "Dub" Peek

BERLIN, GA. - W.L. "Dub" Peek, 81, of Berlin, GA passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, at his home. A memorial service will be held at Baker Funeral Home on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Bell officiating. Born May 15, 1935 in Colquitt Co., He was the son of the late James Howell Peek and Asylee Peek Peek. Dub enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his mother, Asylee Peek; father, James Howell Peek and sister, Geneva Peek Bullard. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Brenda "Polly" Croft Peek, daughter Wendy Peek Fryer and husband Ben of Concord, NC, stepdaughter June Chapman Croft and husband Garland of Berlin, GA, stepdaughter Jane Chapman Smith and husband Chuck of Berlin, GA; grandchildren Daphne Lane Fryer, Jenny Croft McClure and husband Ryan, Jordan Leigh Croft, Amber Tillman Chism and husband Jim, Joseph Don Tillman; great-grandchildren Jack Ryan McClure, William Turner McClure, Macy Claire McClure and James Chapman Chism; brother Wallace Peek and wife Estelle of Pavo, GA, sister Everlena "Sis" Dell of Moultrie, GA, sister Virginia Ann Willis and husband Johnny of Middleburg, FL; and many special nieces and nephews who loved him. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service on Saturday.   Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
