Wondle W. Wimberly (veteran) ANDERSON CITY Wondle W. Wimberly, 76, of Anderson City, Ga., died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at Pruitt Health and Rehab. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Kimball Church Cemetery. Pastor Jill Willingham will officiate. Mr. Wimberly was born Sept. 2, 1938, in Colquitt County to the late Jack Wimberly and Eula Sellars Wimberly. He was an Army veteran and a member of Kimball United Methodist Church. Survivors include three brothers, Randolph Wimberly of Griffin, W.H. Wimberly of Pavo and Ernie Wimberly of Doerun; and three sisters, Jeanette Layfield of Moultrie, Janice Hancock of Albany and Joyce Massey of Doerun. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Hollice Wimberly. Donations may be made to Kimball Church Cemetery Fund in care of Carol Hancock, 4010 Ga. Hwy. 33 South, Doerun, GA 31744.
